AN INTRODUCTION
From the ancient time to the 18th Century, Social Science was the only subject of study which was divided into different disciplines (e.g.-history, economics, sociology etc). Industrial Revolution gave rise to issues requiring investigation by specialists. This has led to specialization in different
areas of a subject (e.g. Economics into Applied Economics, Econometric, etc; Political
Science into Political Sociology, Political Anthropology, etc.).
